This is such a flavorful sauce that really takes the tartness out of the cranberries. It's sweet and citrusy, with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla! Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) pkg fresh cranberries |
1 large orange, zested and juiced |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients into saucepan over medium heat. 2. Simmer until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 15-20 minutes 3. Stir occasionally. 4. If making ahead, store in refrigerator. 5. Serve room temperature. |
