From Stop and Shop Groceries. Ingredients:
3 cups fresh cranberries, washed and drained or 3 cups frozen cranberries, thawed washed and drained |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 tablespoon finely shredded orange zest |
2 cups orange sections, seeded and cut in chunks |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, stir together 1/3 cup cold water with cranberries, sugar, and orange peel. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium-high and simmer, uncovered, until cranberries pop and mixture begins to thicken, about 8-12 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in orange chunks. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. Stir in pecans. |
