A true Holiday bread, My Mom always made this cranberry nut bread for the holiday season, it was one of our favorites - Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 cups whole cranberry sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. 2. Stir in pecans. 3. In a large mixing bowl, beat egg, oil and cranberry sauce. Add dry ingredients and stir just until blended. 4. Pour into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. 5. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. |
