Ingredients:
2 12-ounce packages fresh cranberries |
1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup |
1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar |
1/2 cup water |
3/4 teaspoon maple extract |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in heavy large saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium; simmer until cranberries pop, stirring often, about 12 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Cool completely. (Can be made 5 days ahead. Cover; chill.) |
