This has been handed down 3 or 4 generations of a friend of mine. So glad she shared with me. Hope you enjoy also. Time does not include time for jello to set. Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) package raspberry jell-o gelatin (may also use cherry) |
2 cups boiling water |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce |
8 ounces cream cheese |
10 ounces cool whip |
Directions:
1. Stir jello with boiling water til dissolved. 2. Add cranberry sauce& stir well. 3. Add crushed pineapple with juice. 4. Pour into 9 X 14 dish. 5. Put in fridge til set. 6. Mix cream cheese & cool whip together. 7. Spread on well set jello mixture. 8. Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans on top. |
