Cranberry-Ginger Dipping Sauce |

Use this zesty sauce to dip chicken nuggets, or chinese dishes Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed and dried |
1/4 cup chopped crystallized ginger |
1 tablespoon dry vermouth |
1 teaspoon soya sauce |
1 dash cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar with one cup water. 2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook five minutes. 3. Add cranberries. 4. Return to a boil. 5. Cook stirring once or twice just til their skins pop. (about 5 mins). 6. Stir in ginger, vermouth, soya sauce and cayenne. 7. Remove from heat. 8. Allow to cool. 9. Serve at room temperature. |
