Cranberry Chicken or Pork |

My sister-in-law gave me this recipe. I don't normally like fruit with my meat but this is delicious! Ingredients:
6 -8 chicken breasts or 6 -8 pork chops |
1 (14 ounce) can cranberry sauce, whole berry |
1 cup fat-free french dressing or 1 cup fat-free western salad dressing |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet dry onion soup mix |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. In a 9 x 13 in pan place as many pieces of the chicken/pork that will fit in one layer. 3. Mix together remaining ingredients. 4. Pour over chicken/pork. 5. Bake covered for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 6. Remove cover. 7. Bake another 20 to 30 minutes (to thicken sauce). 8. Serve over rice. |
