Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup chopped salted cashews |
5 ounces chopped dried cranberries |
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar |
3 tablespoons orange juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar and butter. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Continue beating until mixed well. In a separate bowl, combne flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, and mix well. Stir in cashews and cranberries. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. 3.
