New twist on cranberries for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. It is simple and infuses sugar with the fresh cranberries to make a delectable combination. Ingredients:
1 pkg fresh cranberries |
2 cups granulated sugar |
2 cups water |
3/4 cup super fine sugar (if you can't find it then take regular granulated sugar in the blender for a few minutes and it will be perfect) |
Directions:
1. Boil the granulated sugar and water 2. Remove from stove and let cool 3. Put washed fresh cranberries in a bowl and pour the sugar/water mixture over all the cranberries. 4. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours. 5. Next take each cranberry and roll into the superfine sugar until it has been coated with the sugar and set on wax paper to dry. 6. Serve and eat. |
