This is from The Joy of Cranberries. Easy and very good. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon corn oil |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Heat corn oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. 2. Add onion; stir and cook until softened. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients. 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Process mixture in a blender until smooth. 6. Spoon mixture into a glass jar. 7. Store covered in refrigerator no longer than 1 week. |
