You may also brown chicken in a skillet then transfer it with remainig ingredients to a slow cooker. Heat on high for 4 hours. Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
Directions:
1. In a skillet coated with cooking spray, brown chicken on both sides. 2. Place browned chicken in a 2 quart baking dish, coated with nonstick cooking spray. 3. Combine the remaining ingredients: pour over chicken. 4. Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes then uncover and cook for 15 more minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 180 degrees. |
