Cranberry and Sage Stuffing |

This is a homemade stuffing recipe I created to go with my herb marinated turkey. It can be used to stuff a turkey/chicken or cooked by itself. Ingredients:
2 loaves white bread |
1 loaf whole wheat bread |
1 sweet onion (diced) |
3 tablespoons ground sage |
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning |
1/2 cup of melted butter |
1 1/2 cups chicken broth |
1 cup dried cranberries |
Directions:
1. 1) In a large bowl, tear bread into small pieces. 2. 2) Add in all other ingredients and mix together, by hand, until well blended. 3. 3) Stuff into turkey/chicken right before cooking. 4. or. 5. place in a greased, 9x13 inch baking dish, cover with foil, and cook for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
