Ingredients:
1 teaspoon(s) almond extract |
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1 stick(s) butter |
1/2 cup(s) dried cranberries |
2 eggs |
2 cup(s) flour |
1 orange |
2 tablespoon(s) orange juice |
1 1/2 cup(s) post cran almond cereal |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
3/4 cup(s) sugar |
Directions:
1. Prehaet oven to 325.Mix flour 2. baking powder and salt in small bowl.Beat butter and 3. sugar in large bowl with 4. mixer on med. speed until 5. fluffy.Blend in eggs and 6. almond extract.Gradually add 7. flour mixture,beating well 8. after each addition.Stir in 9. orange juice,cereal and 10. cranberries. Divide dough 11. in half.Shape each half 12. into 14x2 log on parchment 13. paper baking sheet. 14. Grate zest of the orange 15. on top of log.Bake 30 min. 16. Remove from baking sheet 17. onto cutting board and 18. cool 5min before cutting. 19. Cut log into 12 slices. 20. Bake 10 min turn and bake 21. more min. Cool on wire 22. rack. |
