Cracklin Cornbread - Down Home Good

This Cornbread is so good. For those of you who don't know what cracklin is, it's country cured port fat bacon. A must try!
Ingredients:
2 cups self-rising cornmeal
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 beaten egg
2 ounces pork cracklings
Directions:
1. Generously grease pan or skillet to be used and pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Measure cornmeal into bowl and gradually ad buttermilk.
3. Add the egg and cracklins.
4. Pour into hot pan and bake for 10-15 minute.
5. ENJOY!
