You gotta try this, it is unbelievably good especially with Devonshire Cream Ingredients:
4 egg whites |
1 cup fine sugar |
24 salted crackers |
1 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually add sugar 2. beating until mixture is stiff and shiny. Fold in crushed 3. crackers and chopped pecans. Cook in greased pie dish in 4. slow oven 325 F [ approx 160 C ] for 35-40 minutes. 5. Allow to cool completely at room temperature and then 6. refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream or Devonshire Cream and decorate with pecans. 7. This recipe makes its own crust. |
