Another one of my grandmother's cookie recipes. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal |
2 cups rice krispies |
1 cup coconut |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; set aside. 3. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. 4. Add flour mixture; mix well. 5. Fold in oatmeal, rice krispies, coconut, and nuts. 6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes. 7. Cool on wire rack. |
