This is another recipe that's been in my family for awhile, my mom had it given to her years ago. It sounds really easy to make if you're needing something whipped up quickly this one might be what you're looking for. I have not made this yet myself, but I've had something similar to this before. Ingredients:
40 saltine crackers |
1 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1 cup nuts, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Line a cookie sheet with foil. 2. Spray with Pam cooking spray. 3. Lay crackers close together on cookie sheet. 4. In a sauce pan, heat brown sugar and butter, blending till melted. 5. Pour melted butter mixture over crackers and bake in a 400 degree oven until bubbly. 6. Top with chocolate chips, and chopped nuts. 7. Let cool before breaking apart. 8. Enjoy! |
