chocolate saltines Trust me... it truly is addicting! *thus the name* Ingredients:
40 saltine crackers |
2 sticks butter |
3/4 cup light brown sugar |
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Line cookie sheet with 2 layers of aluminum foil and cover with single layer of saltines. 2. Melt butter and sugar together in sauce pan; stir and boil for 2 minutes. 3. Pour butter and sugar mix over saltines. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. 4. Take it out of the oven and immediately pour chocolate chips in an even layer on top. 5. Spread to cover as they melt. Put in fridge to harden (only takes an hour or so). Pull off foil and break into pieces. |
