I got this from one of my nutrition professors in college. To look at her, she always looked mad, but she was so funny and sweet. I gave her a lot of grief about the nutritional value of this one! Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese |
8 ounces crabmeat, picked through so there are no shells |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon mustard |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon minced onion |
1 tablespoon powdered sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup white wine, the rest you can drink |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine ingredients in the order they are listed. 2. Over low heat, stirring often to prevent burning, heat until bubbling. 3. Pour into a fondue dish to keep it warm. 4. Serve with celery spikes and other veggies, crackers or chips. |
