This is a great appetizer dish. I use it alot for parties and people love it. We never have leftovers. Ingredients:
3 (2.1 oz.) packages of frozen minature phyllo tart shells |
1/2 cup shredded asiago cheese |
2 eggs |
1/3 cup mayo (no light or fat free) |
1/4 cup half and half cream |
1 green onion, finely chopped |
1 clove garlic, finely minced |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp ground mustard |
1/8 tsp pepper |
1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Place tart shells on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle Asiago cheese into each shell. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. 4. Spoon a teaspoonful of crab mixture into each tart shell. 5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 18-20 minutes or until pastry is browned. Serve warm. |
