An excellent app that people are always asking for me to bring to a party. Got this recipe from Paula Deen Ingredients:
1 cup crabmeat |
1/2 cup cream cheese |
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves |
1/2 cup chopped green onion |
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
2 portobello mushroom caps or 10 white mushroom caps |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
salt, to taste |
pepper, to taste |
nonstick cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Combine crabmeat, cream cheese, parsley, green onions and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 3. Stuff the mushrooms with the mixture and top with bread crumbs. Spray the tops with the nonstick spray to help them brown. 4. Transfer to oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the filling is hot and melted. |
