These are great little appetizers. They can be frozen after baking and then reheated. Ingredients:
3/4 cup shredded crabmeat |
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 minced green onion |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix together crab, cheese, onion, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Set aside. 2. In a saucepan, heat butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat. 3. Add flour and beat until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms into a ball. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until each is fully incorporated. 5. Carefully fold in crab-cheese mixture. 6. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart. 7. Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Serve hot. 8. If frozen, thaw and reheat at 325 for 10 minutes. |
