Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1 bunch green onion, chopped |
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped |
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped |
1 can mushroom, drained (small) |
3 tablespoons flour |
2 cups light cream |
2 cups swiss cheese, grated |
1/2 cup sherry wine or 1/2 cup vermouth, dry |
cayenne pepper |
salt |
1 lb white crab meat or 1 lb shrimp |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in heavy saucepot. 2. Saute vegetables until soft. 3. Blend in flour and add cream. 4. Heat until thickened. 5. Add cheese and heat until it has melted. 6. Add wine, cayenne pepper, and salt. 7. Fold in crab meat or shrimp. 8. Heat gently for 8 to 10 minutes 9. Serve with french bread or in patty shells |
