This is an easy party dip that tastes great and goes wonderfully with a glass of chilled white wine. Hurray for the return of the fondue pot!
Ingredients:
2 8 oz packages cream cheese
4 tsp. confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
3 tbsp. dry, white wine
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. prepared dijon mustard
2 6 1/2 oz cans lump crabmeat (cleaned)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except crabmeat in the top of a double boiler. Heat over simmering water, stirring frequently until melted and well blended. Stir in crabmeat and heat through. Serve in a fondue pot with bits of crusty french bread and crudites.
