This is an easy party dip that tastes great and goes wonderfully with a glass of chilled white wine. Hurray for the return of the fondue pot! Ingredients:
2 8 oz packages cream cheese |
4 tsp. confectioner's sugar |
1/4 tsp. garlic salt |
3 tbsp. dry, white wine |
1/3 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 1/2 tsp. prepared dijon mustard |
2 6 1/2 oz cans lump crabmeat (cleaned) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except crabmeat in the top of a double boiler. Heat over simmering water, stirring frequently until melted and well blended. Stir in crabmeat and heat through. Serve in a fondue pot with bits of crusty french bread and crudites. |
