Adapted from Southern Living Magazine. I have used fresh Blue Crab meat. Ingredients:
1 lb lump crabmeat |
1/2 cup butter |
2 garlic cloves, pressed |
1 1/2 cups half-and-half |
9 ounces fettuccine |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain crabmeat, remove any bits of shell. 2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add pressed garlic and sauté until tender. Stir in half and half, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture is thickened. 3. Add crabmeat, hot cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and pepper, tossing gently. 4. Serve immediately. |
