I came across this recipe in The Egg Primer and I decided to try it. My husband thought it was a real nice change from plain deviled eggs. Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs |
2 tablespoons soft butter |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
3 -5 drops tabasco sauce |
1 dash salt |
1/3 cup boned crabmeat |
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery |
parsley |
Directions:
1. Cut eggs in half lengthwise. 2. Remove yolks and mash in a bowl. 3. Mix in remaining ingredients. 4. Fill egg white halves; garnish with parsley. |
