This recipe is a refreshing salad that goes well with grilled meat, and chili beans. It is an old family favorite. Ingredients:
3 large cucumbers, peeled, quartered and sliced |
1 flat package of imitation crab chunks, cut up into smaller pieces |
1 package small cherry tomatoes, halved |
4 green onions, cleaned and thinly sliced |
16 oz. carton sour cream |
1 tbsp. prepared horseradish |
1 1/2 tsp. crystal louisiana hot sauce |
1 tsp. salt |
1/2 tsp. pepper |
1/4 tsp. garlic powder |
1 tsp. dill weed |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumber, imitation crab, cherry tomatoes, and green onions. 2. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, and mix with a wire whisk. 3. Stir the sour cream mixture into the the large bowl with the cucumber............... 4. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours, until totally chilled 5. Serve with Meat off the grill, and chili beans |
