I came across this recipe in the Bisquick Cookbook. I got this cookbook from a friend of mine in Grapevine, TX. She knows I love to cook with Bisquick. I love this cookbook.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons firm butter
1 1/2 cups bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup milk
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained, flaked
1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos, drained, chopped
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Cut butter into baking mix until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in milk until dough forms. Turn dough onto surface dusted with baking mix, roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into ball, knead 10 times. Pat dough on bottom and up sides of ungreased 12 inch pizza pan. Bake 10 minutes.
2. Beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, dry mustard, red pepper, Worcestershire sauce and egg until smooth. Stir in crab meat and pimentos, spread over crust. Sprinkle with green onion.
3. Bake 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 2 minutes longer. Cut into 6 wedges, serve immediately.
