This was a rather plain crab casserole that I spiced up. I don't remember how I came by the recipe, but it is nothing like the original. Ingredients:
1 lb crabmeat |
1 c. milk |
1 c. mayonnaise |
1 c. herbed season stuffing |
1 med onion, chopped |
1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped |
1/2 c. red bell pepper, chopped |
1 c. mushrooms, sliced |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 t. parsley |
salt and fresh ground pepper |
1 c. colby-jack cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except cheese together and spoon into a greased casserole dish. 2. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 min. 3. Sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven for 5 min. 4. Serve with salad and a crusty french bread. |
