A little taste of the beach! Ingredients:
1/2 c. italian seasoned bread crumbs |
1 lg. egg |
1/4 c. mayonnaise |
1 t. dry mustard |
1/2 t. salt |
1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper |
1 t. paprika |
1 lb. lump crabmeat (picked and drained) |
1/4 c. butter |
Directions:
1. Combine breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, dry mustard, salt, pepper and paprika in a large bowl 2. Fold in crabmeat 3. Shape into 6 crab cakes 4. Melt 2 T. butter over medium heat 5. Add 3 crab cakes to skillet and saute for 3 minutes on each side (or until golden brown) 6. Repeat for remaining crab cakes |
