Easy, excellent crab cakes Ingredients:
1 lb. lump crab meat |
2 cups heavy cream |
1/2 cup green onions |
1 tbsp. chopped garlic |
1/4 cup vermouth |
1 tsp. zatarain's liquid crab boil |
21/2 - 3 cups french bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. Combine cream, onions, garlic, vermouth, liquid crab boil. Bring to boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Add crab meat, salt and pepper. When thoroughly heated, remove from heat. Fold in bread crumbs. Spread mixture on pan and chill for a minimum of 2 hours. Separate into 1/2 cup portions. Press into patties. Place patties on greased pan and broil until browned. 2. These can also be made into crab balls. Adjust cooking time accordingly. |
