The best creamy crab cakes I have ever had! These are breaded crab cakes, not Maryland style. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs, plus breadcrumbs for coating |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup cream or 1/2 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
2 cups flaked crabmeat or 2 cups jumbo crabmeat |
1 cup oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. Heat on high until all ingredients are well mixed. Remove and place in refrigerator for 1 hour or until cold. Form into patties, bread and fry until golden brown. |
