I have no idea where this recipe came from - I've had it on a well-used recipe card for years! It's easy to make and perfect for brunch. Ingredients:
8 eggs |
2 cups half-and-half cream |
2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained |
1 cup frozen chopped broccoli |
1 cup plain breadcrumbs |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon dill |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 green pepper, chopped |
1 cup mushroom, sliced |
Directions:
1. Combine eggs, half and half, crab, broccoli, bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper and dill. 2. Saute onion, pepper, and mushrooms in butter until tender. 3. Combine with egg mixture. 4. Place in greased 9x13 pan. 5. Bake uncovered at 375 F for 1 hour. 6. Stand 10 minutes before serving. |
