Crab, Bacon, & Mushroom Salad |

Light, refreshing, and high protein! Goes GREAT with my Crustless Crab! Ingredients:
8 ounces white crab, drained |
12 slices bacon, chopped |
8 ounces mushrooms, chopped |
2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped |
4 ounces grated carrots |
4 ounces grated red cabbage |
6 ounces crumbled blue cheese |
1 tomato, chopped |
3 ounces green onions, chopped |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon and drain on a papertowel lined plate. Or buy precooked. 2. Rinse and dry lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, and tomato. 3. Clean mushrooms with a moist towel, do not rinse. 4. Chop the bacon, lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, tomato, and mushrooms. 5. In a large bowl or salad bowl, mix lettuce, carrots, and red cabbage together. Layer mushrooms, tomato, bacon, cheese, crab, and green onions. 6. Serve with Marie's Blue Cheese Viniagrette. |
