I combined a couple of recipes and favorite flavors and came up with this. It's easy to put together in a hurry. Ingredients:
5 large eggs |
3/4 cup heavy cream |
2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained |
1 cup swiss cheese, shredded |
1 cup mushroom, chopped |
salt and pepper, to taste |
nutmeg |
9 inches pie shells |
Directions:
1. Mix eggs, milk and cheese. 2. Add chopped mushrooms and drained crab meat. 3. Season with salt and pepper to your taste 4. Pour into a 9 pie shell. 5. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. 6. Place pie ring (or use aluminum foil ring) over crust. 7. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 40 minutes. 8. Remove pie ring and bake 5 - 10 minutes longer until lightly browned. |
