                    From the National Cowboy Hall of Fame Chuck Wagon Cookbook. This is made with mayonnaise and buttermilk, which in my opinion, has the best flavor for a ranch dressing. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                3/4 cup mayonnaise  |  
                                                1/4 cup buttermilk  |  
                                                1/3 cup minced celery  |  
                                                2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley  |  
                                                1 tablespoon grated onion  |  
                                                1 garlic clove  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon dried thyme  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon celery seed  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                1/8 teaspoon ground pepper  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. 2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.                              |
