main dish, easy for a busy cook. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 package taco seasoning |
12 ounces shredded cheddar cheese |
1 jar pace picante sauce |
2 packages jiffy cornbread mix |
Directions:
1. brown the ground beef and follow the directions on taco seasoning packet as though you are making tacos. 2. in a casserole dish first add taco meat then sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the meat. 3. Next evenly spread the pace over cheese. 4. Prepare the corn bread mix as package instructs you to and pour over meat mixture. 5. Bake in a pre heated 350 oven for 30 minutes or until corn bread is cooked through. 6. I serve this with sour cream and more salsa. 7. you can also sprinkle the top of the corn bread before baking with green chilis. |
