made with turkey instead of beef Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
6 oz tomato paste |
3 cups macaroni |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup water |
1 cup corn |
1 small green bell pepper, diced |
1 small red bell pepper, diced |
1/2 onion, diced |
4 cloves garlic |
1/2 tsp red chili powder |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey with peppers, onions and garlic. 2. At the same time cook your macaroni (and your corn, if it's frozen. 3. Drain macaroni and meat. Add noodles to ground turkey mixture. 4. Add water, cheese, tomato paste and spices. 5. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot. |
