Wonderful for brunch or breakfast. Fast and easy to prepare. Ingredients:
1 3/4 c. flour |
3/4 c. brown sugar |
1/2 tsp. salt |
2/3 c. margarine |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp.cinnamon |
1/2 tsp. nutmeg |
1 c. buttermilk |
2 beaten eggs |
Directions:
1. Cream flour, brown sugar, salt and margarine 2. Remove 1/2 cup of this crumb mixture for topping 3. Add remaining ingredients and mix 4. Bake in 9 X 13 cake pan for 30 minutes at 375 degrees 5. Remove from oven and sprinkle on the reserved crumb topping |
