This is a great dish to bring to family reunions, potluck dinners. It goes with anything - especially grilled items.
Ingredients:
1 large can of busch bake beans (the big one from sam's club)
2 cans of pinto beans
2 cans great northern (white) beans
(use whatever bean combination you prefer-i use what's in my cabinet at the time)
2 cans chopped/diced tomatoes
1 green pepper (chop coarsely)
1 yellow pepper (chop coarsely)
1 red pepper (chop coarsely)
1 very large red or white onion
1/2 bag of real bacon bits (the big bag from sam's club)
1/2 jar maple syrup (add what you prefer)
1lb ground pork (or turkey/beef-your preference)
1 stalk of celery cut up fine
Directions:
1. Cook & drain the pork. (Be careful not to overcook - as it will bake as well.)
2. Mix all ingrediants together in a big pan and bake at 350* for 2 hours. Let set for 30 minutes to thicken
