A Southwestern favorite, these beans get a kick from McCormick Hot Shot!! Ingredients:
4 slices bacon, chopped |
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, drained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon minced onion |
1/2 teaspoon mccormick hot shot black & red pepper blend |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in 3-quart saucepan on medium-high heat until crisp. Drain fat. 2. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
