Here's a delicious side dish. Goes well with chicken. It's my own recipe. :) Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped |
2 carrots, sliced |
2 chicken bouillon cubes |
salt |
pepper |
1 cup couscous |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in 2 1/2 cups water in large saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil; add carrots and onion. 3. Cover and reduce heat to low. 4. Boil 15 minutes or until carrots are done. 5. Add salt, pepper, and couscous. 6. Cook, uncovered, 1 minute. 7. Add butter. 8. Cook and stir 2 minutes. 9. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. 10. Stir and serve. |
