I made this for school, and I ate two bowls of it for dinner! It is lovely with thick french bread or soda bread. It is easy to make too and amazingly low in calories. Ingredients:
4 large white onions |
1 liter water |
2 vegetable bouillon cubes |
2 tablespoons plain flour |
Directions:
1. Peel and chop the onions into rings then dry fry them for 10 mins. 2. Sprinkle in the flour (to thicken the juices) and stir for a minute. 3. Add the water and crumbled up stock cubes and bring up to the boil. 4. Liquidise this mixture using preferably a hand held blender thingy (haha). 5. Serve and enjoy! |
