This recipe has been in the family for quite a while and has been served at most of our holiday meals. Great served with pork, turkey or chicken. Ingredients:
14 1/2 ounces chicken broth |
1/4 cup water |
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes |
1 teaspoon ground coriander |
1 teaspoon sweet paprika |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper |
1/2 cup pine nuts |
1/4 dried cranberries, chopped |
1 (10 ounce) package couscous, approx. 1 2/3 cups |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except couscous and parsley. Bring to boil over high heat. Stir in couscous. Remove from heat and cover. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in chopped parsley. |
