My mom's recipe. We loved having these when we grew up! If you don't want to use bottled sauce, Oven Barbecue Spareribs has a great sauce. Ingredients:
4 lbs country-style pork ribs |
1 large onion, sliced |
1 lemon, sliced |
1 (16 ounce) jar barbecue sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°. 2. Slice onion and lemon. 3. Place ribs in 9x12-inch baking dish. 4. Place onion slices on each rib. 5. Place a lemon slice on each rib. 6. Bake ribs at 400° for 1/2 hour. 7. Remove lemon slices and pour (or brush) barbecue sauce over ribs. 8. Reduce heat to 350° and cook for one hour, basting every 15 minute. |
