I think this is another one of those recipes my mom clipped out of the Winnipeg Free Press. She doesn't have a bread machine, but she thought it sounded good, so the next time they came out to visit, she had me make a loaf for her! Since then, it's become a favourite around here - especially at breakfast. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups warm water |
2 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons cooking oil |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup flax seed |
2 tablespoons sesame seeds |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons instant yeast (bread machine) |
Directions:
1. Mix in usual bread machine manner and bake. |
