OH so fabulous! Ingredients:
country never fail peanut brittle |
2 c granulated sugar |
3 ts butter |
1 c light corn syrup |
1 ts salt |
1/2 c water |
2 ts baking soda |
3 c raw peanuts (sometimes i roast mine just a little) |
Directions:
1. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. Boil sugar, corn syrup and water until thread spins. 3. Add peanuts, stir continuously after peanuts are added. 4. Cook until mixture turns a brownish-gold color. 5. Remove from heat, add butter, salt and baking soda. 6. Pour onto buttered board, spreading to 1/4-inch thickness. 7. When cool break into pieces. 8. Store in an airtight container. |
