So nice for a weekend morning. Ingredients:
1 single crust pie shells or 1 pastry dough |
4 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 cup half-and-half |
1 cup ham, cooked and finely chopped |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and half-and-half. 2. Stir in ham, cheeses, pepper and red pepper. 3. Pour mixture into the prepared pastry shell. 4. Bake in a 350 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. 5. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. 6. Garnish as desired. |
