From my collection of handwritten recipes. Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) can mushroom soup |
2 lbs chicken parts |
2 tablespoons shortening |
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1 cup sliced carrot |
chopped parsley |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat. Stir in soup, seasoning and carrots. Cover. Cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender. Garnish with parsley. |
