Country Crunch Pancakes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 1/4 cups buttermilk
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup blueberries
Directions:
1. Topping: mix together 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; blend in almonds and brown sugar. Set aside.
2. Pancakes: In a bowl combine flours, 1/3 cup oatmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and 1 tsp cinnamon.
3. In a seperate bowl combine buttermilk, eggs and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until blended. Fold in blueberries.
4. Sprinkle about 1 tsp topping for each pancake on lightly greased griddle.
5. Pour 1/4 cup batter over topping. Immediately sprinkle with another 1 tsp topping.
6. Turn pancakes when bubbles form on top. Cook till second side is golden brown.
